1. One chef, one dish Neo Garden employs a dedicated chef for each food type. Hence a team of chefs (and not just one chef) is responsible for the entire buffet. For example, for your buffet of 9 items, each item is prepared by one chef at a specific station. With each chef taking charge of an area of specialty, food quality and consistency are maintained. Furthermore, as dishes are prepared simultaneously by the different chefs, they are ready at about the same time and are still warm and fresh when delivered to you.
2. 1 hour from preparation to delivery Neo Garden owns two state-of-the-art central kitchens, strategically located in the east and west of Singapore. Depending on the delivery location, Neo Garden will cook and pack the buffet order at the closest central kitchen to ensure fast delivery. Moreover, all this is prepared only 1 hour prior to delivery to ensure your order reaches you fresh and warm.
3. Ensuring food taste and look good At Neo Garden, we conduct taste and visual tests prior to the delivery of each and every order. Dishes that do not meet our stringent standards are promptly replaced. Among our quality-control measures are forbidding staff to compromise on food quality, such as repeated recycling of cooking oil or cooking for too many people at the same time.

4. Every new dish, multiple R&D The Neo Garden R&D team constantly experiments to bring you innovative dishes. What’s more, we follow a stringent selection process of food tests and tasting before a new dish is eventually introduced to our menu. For example, when our signature yusheng was first created, our entire crew was roped in to sample this dish every day for over 20 days before it was finally rolled out as our Chinese New Year offering.

6. Quality vs Quantity Neo Garden doesn’t believe in compensating for quality with quantity. We always prepare our food quantity according to the number of people catered for, hence one reasonable-sized portion per person. However, for certain dishes (especially highly popular ones), we usually provide up to a 10% buffer. But even so, you may find that this is not enough because it’s no secret that good food runs out fast.
