Begin with Love (2016 – PRESENT)
We all love a big bang on New Year’s Day. And we want to share that cheer with everyone in the community. That’s why all our catering brands come together every year on January 1st to donate 100% of our revenue on that day to selected beneficiaries. And our customers like that. More of them have come forward to show their support, helping us rake in close to a million dollars’ worth of donations since we started in 2016.
Blood Donation Drive (2017 – PRESENT)
We hold blood donation drives in three locations across our different offices twice a year. Apart from employees, we also invite our customers and partners to join us in our effort to save lives. Up till today, we’ve donated close to 5,000 packets of blood. Given that each packet can help 3 people in need, that’s about 15,000 people altogether. It’s a small action that can literally change someone else’s life. And we endeavour to do more for them.
MOTHER’S DAY GIVEAWAY (2020 – 2022)
During the pandemic in 2020, Neo Garden gave away over 1,000 Party Sets to send some cheers to the families & show appreciation to the unsung hero of the family during Mother’s Day. A social media giveaway was launched where members of the public were encouraged to submit their heartfelt dedication to their moms on Facebook & Instagram. Winners were selected and were each given a Mother’s Day Appreciation Party Set. Over 1,500 entries were received and a total of 1,200 Party Sets were given away, surpassing the initial target.
Heartened by the overwhelming response from the first campaign, this giveaway has since become Neo Garden’s Mother’s Day highlight annually.
30,000 CURRY BOMBS FOR A GOOD CAUSE (2020 – 2021)
In 2020, Neo Garden pledged the proceeds from the sales of 30,000 Curry Bombs towards the fund-raising campaign for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund & Singapore Swimming Association (SSA)’s One Team Singapore Fund.
Over half a million dollars was raised & the campaign benefitted children from low-income families to help them through school and the aquatics community who have been impacted by Covid-19. Joseph Schooling also made appearances to support this meaningful campaign, joining our kitchen to make one Curry Bomb. Curry Bombs purchased from our corporate partners were also donated as a hearty meal to the beneficiaries - ISCOS, Underprivileged Families at Marine Parade Cluster and families under the SG Cares Network. It was a meaningful campaign that touched the hearts and filled the bellies of over 3,000 beneficiaries.
Singapore Swimming Association (2015 – PRESENT)
Neo Garden supports the Singapore’s aquatics scene and its champions since 2015 as the Official Food and Beverage Sponsor for Singapore Swimming Association (SSA). This annual year-long sponsorship of $120,000 also included being the title sponsor for the annual Neo Garden Singapore National Swimming Championships.
In an interview with The Straits Times, Neo Garden’s founder, chairman and CEO said, “We define success as more than just making profit, but also being a socially responsible company to give back to a community that has supported us.”
Table Tennis Association for the Disabled Singapore (2017 – PRESENT)
Neo Garden has pledged $12,000 annually as a contribution to TTADS’ operational and training expenses since 2017. This pledge comes as a continuous support for the sports and wellness scene in Singapore.
ISCOS REGEN FUND (IRF) SPONSORSHIP (2020 – PRESENT)
IRF is an IPC charity that supports children and families of reformed offenders. Through the flagship Fairy Godparent Programme, IRF offers various academic and pro-social initiatives to beneficiaries with the long-term objective of preventing intergenerational offending. Neo Garden is the sponsor for the monthly birthday celebrations for the 120 children, providing mini party sets, birthday cakes & gifts for the families.
Cheng Hong Chinese New Year (2017 – 2019)
Amidst the Lunar New Year festivities, over 50 volunteers set out to spend the day with more than 300 seniors in a CNY luncheon organised by Cheng Hong Welfare Service Society annually. Aside from the buffet spread and entertainment segments, these seniors also received red packets courtesy of Neo Garden. A total of $10,000 was donated for this luncheon.
LASER TAG WITH CHILDREN FROM WILLING HEARTS (2019)
36 volunteers from Neo Group were joined with 30 underprivileged children from Willing Hearts for a game of laser tag fun, followed by a delicious buffet lunch spread during the school holidays. The children had an enjoyable time at their very first laser tag game. Willing Hearts is a secular, non-affiliated charity that is wholly run by volunteers and operates a soup kitchen for the underprivileged in Singapore.
BEFRIENDING SESSION WITH THK MORAL CHARITIES (2019)
Over 38 Neo Group volunteers joined the residents from Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) for a morning of Zumba Dance, Totebag Painting & Sing-along session. The befriending session also ended with a sumptuous meal. THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 55 services and programmes for adults, families, elderly, and persons with disabilities - reaching out to more than 50,000 people in the community.
Ren Ci Visitation (2016, 2018)
To encourage volunteerism amongst the staff, the Neo Seed committee organised a visitation for the 200 residents at Ren Ci @ Bukit Batok which saw a total of 50 staff volunteers. Residents were treated to a buffet lunch, performances by the staff and a magic show to round up the event. Volunteering was a first for many, but definitely not the last.
Grocery Shopping with Seniors from Lion Befrienders (2017)
38 staff volunteers took their Sunday morning off to have a meaningful grocery shopping with 30 seniors from Lion Befrienders. Unlike the usual food sponsorship, this interactive session enable our volunteers & seniors to interact better over a fun grocery shopping session.
BB Cares with The Boys’ Brigade in Singapore (2017)
In support of BB CARES (Community Activities Rallying Everyone to Serve), Neo Garden sponsored $10,000 for BB CARES 2017 anchor event. It was a day of fun and meaningful community activities, involving over 1,000 BB boys, parents, beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Sian Chay Medical Institute (2017)
In support of Sian Chay Medical Institute’s Mother’s Day celebrations that was jointly organised with Ang Mo Kio GRC and Sengkang West Citizen’s consultative committees, Neo Garden sponsored $100,000 for the 217,000 pink carnations. These carnations were distributed to the public and our customers on Mother’s Day.
Handicaps Welfare Association (2017)
During Handicaps Welfare Association’s (HWA) 33rd Annual ‘Wheel, Walk or Jog 2017’ event Neo Garden donated $500 from our corporate Neo’s Seed to support their door-to-door transport services for People with Disabilities.
Riding for the Disabled Association of Singapore (2017)
Three lucky draw prizes, worth $200 each, were gifted to Riding for the Disabled Association of Singapore (RDA) at their 35th Anniversary Charity Ball to show appreciation for the creative work they are doing to serve and reach out to the special needs community. RDA is the only registered charity locally to offer therapeutic and rehabilitative horse-riding (hippotheraphy) sessions for those with special needs at no cost. In their 35 years they have helped over 6,000 beneficiaries, worked with more than 20 spec schools and VMOs.
Singapore Polytechnic SPGG Endowment Fund, Dr Khoo Kay Chai Award (2017)
In remembrance of the contributions of the late Dr Khoo Kay Chai, Neo Garden sponsored $5,000 as a donor of the Dr Khoo Kay Chai Award. The award is given to students from humble backgrounds who require financial assistance.
Eye Am Aware (2017)
In support of the annual Eye Am Aware event organised by the Nanyang Technology University’s Welfare Services Club, Neo Garden sponsored the snacks for the participants. Eye Am Aware aims to raise awareness among the general public about Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) through interaction between public and the beneficiaries.
爱心72小时 Hearts and Hugs (2016)
Together with the team at Mediacorp and other partners, Neo Garden answered the call for help to raise funds for a stroke victim. A total of 400 bentos produced at our kitchen, and sold at One Raffles Place. In another episode, it was our pleasure to provide a Christmas spread for the participants of a one-day farm tour. Proceeds from the day’s activities went to helping an elderly couple with their daily and medical expenses. In addition, one year’s supply of groceries was donated to 13 beneficiaries selected by the Hearts and Hugs team.
Fundraising for Zelle Lee’s rare leukemia disease (2016)
A donation of $50,000 was made to Zelle Lee, who suffers from a rare type of leukemia disease that required a bone marrow transplant. Funds raised were used to offset the hefty hospital bills and used for future treatments that she may require.
Happiness is Homemade (2015)
A one-day Mother’s Day and Father’s Day event was held in collaboration with Singapore Kindness Movement to celebrate family togetherness and to encourage children to appreciate their parents. Families were given the opportunity to have a family portrait taken instantly for their keeping. The event was also a fund-raiser for Melrose Home Children’s Aid Society, seeing a total of $2,850 being donated.
Amitofo Care Center (2015)
$50,000 was donated to the Amitofo Care Center in support of the ACC’s adoption & caring programme and activities which includes operating on dormitories for children and youth, preparatory school, kindergarten, a medical center and vocational training centre to list a few. Staff were also given the opportunity to adopt a child on their own.
Singapore Table Tennis Association (2015, 2014 & 2013)
Neo Garden signed a 3-year long sponsorship agreement worth $300,000 with Singapore Table Tennis Association. As part of the agreement, we fed the guests and participants at the Official Opening of the TTADS@YSC Para Table Tennis Training Centre. Present at the event were Singapore’s national paddlers, Feng Tian Wen, Isabelle Li, Clarence Chew and Chen Feng.
Fundraising For Nepal Earthquake Relief Work (2015)
In view of the earthquakes that hit Nepal in early 2015, management and staff raised a total of $20,000 to aid relief works.
SEED Fund: MINDS (2014)
Our friends from MINDS were invited to perform at our annual Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations held on 23rd September 2014. To assist the organisation’s expenses, $10,000 was donated from the SEED Fund.
Lianhe Wanbo 'Make A Wish'
Neo Garden helped fulfilled the wish of a Lianhe Wanbo reader to sponsor a buffet birthday party for her 15 year old daughter suffering from Crohn disease. It is our privilege to be able to bring joy to both hearts and tummies.
I Love My Mum (2014)
Neo Garden celebrates mothers with 1,000 pictures, 1 buffet party, 1 worthy cause in the ‘I Love My Mum’ campaign. We took to Orchard Road to encourage children to show acts of appreciation to their mothers through hugs, kisses and words, and capturing these moments in pictures. With 1,000 pictures garnered, Neo Garden will donate a buffet party to appreciate Single Mums. This campaign was held in partnership with Singapore Kindness Movement.
Spectra Secondary School (2014)
A sponsorship of $12,000 was given to Spectra Secondary School for their Student Activity Centre. At Spectra Secondary School, the aim is to equip students with technical skills for employment by engaging them in a safe and caring environment.
DSA Buddy Walk & Carnival (2014)
Neo Garden took part in DSA Buddy Walk & Carnival on 21st March 2014 which is also known as World’s Down Syndrome Day. The event aims to build stronger team cohesiveness and foster relationship between persons with Down syndrome and the community. $5,000 was also donated to the organisation, all the proceeds go to providing educational, social and developmental programmes for persons with Down syndrome and assistance for their families.
Singapore Buddhist Free Clinic (2014)
Neo Garden made a donation of $5,000 to the Singapore Buddhist Free Clinic (SBFC). The SBFC provides free medical services to the sick and needy to aid in relieving their suffering on illness.
Love Link (2014)
Supporting the causes of Love Link Singapore, a sponsorship of $5,000 (silver sponsorship), and another $2,000 in red packets to celebrate Chinese New Year with the elderlies, was donated.
Loving Heart (2014)
A sum of $2,500 was donated to Loving Heart, a non-profit voluntary welfare organisation (VWO) that serves the residents and community of Jurong Central Constituency, to aid in the running of their services and programmes.
Inmates’ Families Support Fund (2013)
A donation of $1,000 was given to provide basic support for the families of the inmates.
Singapore Red Cross Society – Typhoon Haiyan (2013)
Neo Garden raised a total of $20,000 in a fund-raising drive internally. All donations went into helping the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in Talcoban to rebuild their homes and recover from this devastating disaster.
Autism Resource Centre (2013)
Neo Garden supported the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) by donating $5,000. The Autism Resource Centre aims to provide resources for autistic individuals, as well as highlighting the need of these resources in our community.
Monthly Healthy Bento Distribution With SilverAce @ Taman Jurong (2013)
We are delighted to have sponsored monthly healthy bento lunches to the elderly living in Taman Jurong under NTUC Eldercare. It is also a chance for all the elderly to gather and partake in activities.
Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund (2013)
$5,000 were donated to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund, which provides financial support for elderly needy patients and their families. A previous donation of $1,000 was given in 2012.
Singapore Children’s Society (2013)
We pledged a total of $20,000 during Singapore Children’s Society’s inaugural Charity TV Show. The TV Show’s proceeds will help to fund Children’s Society’s 68 programmes and services, which benefited about 72,000 children, youth and families in 2013. A previous donation of $2,000 was made in 2012 also.
Promisedland Community Services - Lifeblood Centre & Education Foundation (2013)
We donated $4,288 and $2,400 to Promisedland Community Services' Lifeblood Centre and Education Foundation respectively. Lifeblood Centre’s purpose is in helping Thalassemia and cancer patients. This enables them to continue providing ferry services, food rations and medical subsidies for the needy patients. Educational Foundation aims to help children and needy families with pocket money, student centre programme subsidies, scholarship bursaries, textbook grants and sports programmes.
NTUC U Care Fund
Neo Garden Catering sponsored $12,000.00 to NTUC U Care Fund to support low income families, youths, children and elderly. The U Care Fund helps the needy family to subsidise the hefty cost of education with back-to-school vouchers and more.
RSVP Singapore (2013)
We donated $2,000 to RSVP Singapore. RSVP Singapore is an organisation that believes strongly in active ageing, and is dedicated to providing opportunities for seniors to serve the community through purpose-driven volunteerism.

Early CNY Lunch For Elderly with Silver Ace @ Taman Jurong (2012)

Jurong Central Spring Festive Dinner (2010)
